About
Located inside the historic Union on Garey in Downtown Pomona, Immersive Art Studios & Gallery are thoughtfully designed micro studios for artists seeking affordable, flexible creative space within one of Southern California’s longest-standing arts communities. The Union was historically the Pomona YMCA, recently reopened as a community-centered adaptive reuse project that highlights and preserves much of this nationally recognized historic building. Downtown Pomona itself is a historic arts colony and has hosted monthly art walks for more than 30 years, cultivating a deeply rooted, artist-led culture.
Built above the Union’s original 1920s indoor swimming pool, the Immersive Art Studios are micro studios ranging from approximately 84 to 144 square feet and are designed for focused, independent creative work. At the center of the studio area, a glass viewing panel in the floor allows artists and visitors to look down onto a preserved portion of the historic pool floor—creating a tangible connection between Pomona’s past and its evolving creative future.
Month-to-month leases will be available beginning spring 2026 starting at $450/month.
